Welcome to Guiding Light Therapy
A compassionate space for healing, growth, and meaningful connection.
Life can bring challenges that leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about the path forward. Psychotherapy offers an opportunity to pause, gain perspective, and better understand the experiences, emotions, and relationship patterns that shape our lives. It can be a meaningful step toward greater self-awareness, emotional well-being, and lasting change.
At Guiding Light Therapy, psychotherapy is provided for individuals and couples, with a focus on fostering greater self-awareness, emotional well-being, and healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

MEET RUBY GARCIA, MSW, LCSW
A warm, collaborative approach to your healing journey.
I believe therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and better understand the experiences, emotions, and relationships that shape our lives. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, creating a space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported as you explore your experiences and move toward meaningful change.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and psychotherapist, I bring over a decade of clinical experience supporting individuals, children, and families across child welfare, crisis intervention, forensic interviewing, pediatric medical social work, school-based mental health, and behavioral health settings. These experiences have shaped a thoughtful, individualized, and trauma-informed approach that considers the whole person and the many experiences that influence emotional well-being.
My goal is to meet you where you are, help you recognize your strengths, and support you in building greater self-awareness, healthier connections, and a path forward that feels meaningful to you.

Like a lighthouse guiding ships through unpredictable waters, therapy offers direction without choosing the path for you.
The heart behind Guiding Light Therapy is rooted in the belief that everyone possesses an inner resilience, even during the most uncertain times. As a wife, mother, and therapist, I understand that life's challenges can feel like a storm, but you are not alone in navigating them. Together, we work to find your sense of direction and build the strength needed to move forward with hope and clarity.
“A lighthouse does not calm the storm or choose the journey. It simply offers a steady light to help guide the way.”
